About Heroes Retreat

Heroes Retreat Mackinac has been welcoming guest since it was built in 2008. We have hosted over 40 families staying at least one month or more. This is due to city code and zoning for the island. The island is open year-round, while not all businesses are. So, most guest visit between May through October. Our condo is available year-round. This is truly a magical place that takes you back in time. Even better when you can enjoy a whole month or work remotely. Our biggest compliment is a repeat guest. We look forward to helping you plan and prepare for an unforgettable trip to Mackinac Island. 

I really enjoy connecting with my guest and sharing our happy place with other families. We know time is a thief and would like families from all over to visit and create new memories together. So, I decided to add to the mix with a sister property in Virginia Beach, named Heroes Retreat 2. While Heroes Retreat requires a monthly stay, Heroes Retreat 2 (HR2) requires a weeklong stay or more. HR is great for couples, empty-nesters and those that can work remotely. HR2 is ideal for groups of less than ten. HR2 is getting a deck addition this fall that will overlook the in-ground pool. Check back here and follow both HR & HR2 on Instagram for season updates.
